Q: What is Lush and Beautiful’s return policy?
A: Unfortunately, there is no exchange or refund for change of mind so please choose carefully. However, depending on the situation if the goods are damaged or faulty you will need to fill out the Return Form on our website to start the process.

Q: How long does delivery take?
A: All our dresses have different delivery times so please make sure to check the dresses product description webpage for its delivery time.
Q: What is Made to measure?
A: Here at Lush and Beautiful, we offer made to measure which is a custom made piece either designed new or an existing Lush and Beautiful design custom fitted with fabric or detailed modifications to your liking. Starting with initial consultation and two follow up fittings (more fittings are available when required), a custom made garment will be created by our experienced Melbourne team, including professional pattern makers and skilled machinists, using couture techniques to ensure an impeccable finish.
Q: How long will my made to measure garment take?
A: Generally, a Made to Measure gown takes 2-3 months depending on the availability of the fabric and the complexity of the design. However, with a simpler design and provided that the fabric is in stock it may only take 2 to 4 weeks to make.
Q: Can I change my mind for made to measure?
A: Due to the nature of the design process, there are stages where you can still change your mind on the designs of the dress. In the calico fitting stage of the process, you can change the design without incurring extra charge depending on the style (which varies case by case). During the real fabric fitting you can still change the design however it will incur a cost as the fabric is already cut.
You can change your mind completely and we can stop the process without any extra charge.
Q: What if I don’t want to do made to measure anymore?
A:Sometimes customers may have found another existing dress, have changed their mind completely or are lacking funds and they decide to stop the process. At Lush and Beautiful we respect our customer’s decisions and will stop the design process in moment of notice in writing. We will not charge you any exit fees. However, we won’t be able to refund any of the past deposits for the fittings.
Q: How do I pay for made to measure?
A:Initial consultations are complimentary and once satisfied on the design, a non-refundable 50% deposit is to be paid and applied to the final payment. Another 25% after the calico fitting is required to proceed to the next step and the remaining 25% of the balance is payable after the real fabric fitting.
Q: Do I get to receive the patterns from my made to measure service?
A:Lush and Beautiful holds all the rights and assets to these patterns and designs, even reproducing the work in our store. Therefore they are not included with your made to measure service. However for a fee you can purchase your patterns but the price will vary from each service.
Q: When can I collect my custom piece?
A:At the agreed upon collection date, the custom piece will be ready for collection.
Q: Do I make an appointment for my made to measure or walk in?
A:Please make an appointment either through in-store, phone or email.
Q: When will my fabric arrive?
A:Depending on the complexity and the manufacturing process, your fabric will arrive around 6 to 12 weeks.
Q: The fabric I want is not available?
A:If you have placed your order and the fabric is not available, we will look into the situation and will notify you within 7 business days after the order has been place. A refund will be issued or other options will be offered if the fabric is no longer available.
Q: When do I pay for my fabric?
A:Full payment must be made when you place the order.
